The adapter is made of stainless steel and is usable on a standard badge bar.
The holes in the adapter are 1/4" in diameter and the centers are 3/4" apart. The pattern is more user friendly than the adapters available to date.  The adapter is designed to be sacrificial and can be modified to fit almost any grill badge.

I needed to reremove one of the grease caps on the wire wheeled MGB/GT.
I thought a special tool would make the job a lot quicker.  I looked at the special tool in the catalog.  I looked at the price of the special tool.
And I made this.  Works great.  For a whole lot less.
Fits grease caps with a 5/16-24 stud.

Grease Cap Tool: $5.95

The first time I opened the spare tire cover on my MGB/GT I noticed a lack of anything to hold it up.  I guess the intent was for you to hold the cover up with one hand and wrestle the spare tire out with the other.  I used my head, literally, to hold the cover up and used both hands to get the spare out.  I suppose I could have found a long screwdriver, or even a stick, but I wanted something a bit more modern.
That thinking lead to the  MGB/GT Spare Tire Cover Strut Kit. The cover now opens with all the effort of one finger, goes up, and stays up until you're ready to close.

As you can see, my GT is not a pristine show car but that doesn't mean that it can't be user friendly.  I've got a long list of things to be done, but I have fixed the problem of holding the spare tire cover up.

That's one down and way too many to go.

On the early MGs they were enthralled with octagons.  They were everywhere, anything that could be made with an octagon was.  If they couldn't, they used a half octagon.  Every time you tried to count the octagons you discovered you missed one.  Up through the MG TF the top of the dipstick was a separate piece, an octagon with MG cast into the top.

Starting with the MGA the dipstick was just a piece of 1/4 inch half-round bent into a loop.  How dull is that?

If you have octagon fever or just like a bit of bling you can now satisfy either urge.  The MG Dipstick Topper is now available.  It's just over 1 1/4 inches in diameter so you can get a good grip. The base is very nicely machined aluminium and the emblem is baked enamel.  The Dipstick Topper requires cutting the loop off your old dipstick and comes with needed hardware and instructions.  It fits MGA, MGB and MG Midget.

We both know this is pure bling, but, if your MG budget is subject to the occasional audit by SWMBO, then point out that aluminum dipstick topper conducts heat better than the steel dipstick which means you won't burn your fingers when checking the oil.  And that makes the Dipstick Topper a much needed Safety Item.

There you have it, bling and safety for $24.95.
